HSNF_Designation by BHCC decision_notice (23-12-2014)
Proposals for the Hove Station Neighbourhood Forum to be designated as a body qualified to prepare a Neighbourhood Plan were submitted to the City Council at the end of December 2014. On the Council web-site you can find:
- the application for the designation of the Forum: sets out how the Forum came into being and has developed over the past year – the trigger was the new City Council Plan which designated a large area south and a larger north of Hove Station for redevelopment over the next 15 years. This strategic proposal is called Development Area 6 Hove Station and its implementation will transform the area and have a mjor impact on surrounding neighbourhoods both south and north of the railway line. The application is accompanied by the Forum’s Constitution
- the application for the designation of a proposed Neighbourhood Plan Area :sets out how the Forum was established and the work it has done to identify a proposed Neighbourhood Plan Area – through Have Your Say Days and discussions with a range of community organisations and local councillors.
